Client Description
Opened in 1959, Andrean is a Catholic high school belonging to the Diocese of Gary. The school includes a library with computer access, four additional networked computer labs, four science laboratories, a guidance complex, a student chapel, music complex, and three art rooms. Deeply committed to this liberating teaching of Jesus Christ, Andrean High School resolves to enable its students to achieve the degree of academic and moral excellence of which each is capable.
Client's Need
For development purposes, the following needs were priority:
- a centralized and modernized database for maintaining alumni contact information
- a means of updating and communicating with alums in a controlled online environment
- trackable online donations capability
Our Solution
We deployed AndreanAlumni.org, a CommunityBuilder site for the school. With an online yearbook, forums, galleries, and more, its social networking foundation would allow alumni to communicate with each other while staying abreast of current Andrean events and topics. CommunityBuilder's secure access and privacy features allow alums to keep their content invisible to the public (and even to other alums), though they can opt into continued direct communication from the school.
Andrean's development department also enjoys an advanced set of online administrative tools that aid in reporting, donation tracking, mass mailings, user management, and more. Fundraising and communication efforts are easier than ever before with CommunityBuilder.
