Client Description
Founded in 1991, G.J. Berding Surveying Incorporated is a full-service professional surveying firm located in the eastern Cincinnati suburb of Milford, Ohio. Conveniently located minutes from the I-275 beltway, we have easy access to the Greater Cincinnati area as well as Northern Kentucky and the Interstate 71 and 75 corridors.
Client's Need
An update and total redesign of their already comprehensive website. An emphasis on:
- viewer interaction and education of new technologies and applications,
- a sleek and tight design focus on branding, and
- site editability by the Berding organization itself.
Our Solution
A menu-based content-managed site with a clean, new design, improved navigation, technology showcase pages (built around GPS, 3D laser scanning, and other surveying techniques), quote request forms with specific service purposes, a gallery of samples, and a library of links and online references. An About section tells visitors more about Berding, its equipment list, a list of markets that they serve, example projects, and awards that they have won.
A previous FluidMedia-produced version of the site also included interactive educational Flash modules that further demonstrated the surveying technologies utilized by Berding.
