Client Description
Inspired by three centuries of the distinctive spirituality of the Christian Brothers, La Salle educates the whole person, developing young men in their unique talents and strengths. A core program balances academics, athletics, the arts and community service. An academically diverse student body discovers an independence of thought and action that promotes a sense of individual responsibility.
Client's Need
A competitive approach to admissions for their school that highlights the school's tradition of excellence, their extensive educational resources, their athletic successes, their moral foundation, and their strong community. FluidMedia would be tasked toward producing new media solutions that would work in tandem with more traditional print materials (some from another firm).
Our Solution
A series of video-based interactive media and DVDs over the years that helped to fuel the school's recruitment efforts. We shot the video and photography, as well as creating the music and motion graphics throughout the pieces.
In use from 2003 to 2007, we created a comprehensive promotional CD-ROM containing video, slideshows, data lists, and more. Targeted to prospective students and parents alike, this Director-authored CD-ROM was packaged in a postal-ready trifold that acted as a brochure in itself. A DVD containing the video content and similar branding was produced and distributed as an alternate to the CD-ROM.
In following years we created new admissions videos that would continue to showcase the holistic approach toward education and atmosphere of student success that defines La Salle. Working with other design/branding firms for each new recruitment campaign, we were able to create DVDs that worked within the design rules of a particular campaign, but elevated that drive's effectiveness and heart.
This video contains excerpts from the DVDs and CD-ROMs that we created. It showcases our videography, photography, scoring, motion graphics, and interactive media development capabilities.
