Client Description
West Philadelphia Catholic High School (West Catholic) is a Catholic community of academic excellence in an urban environment which is open to an interdenominational population. The school's rigorous spiritual, academic, technological, and co-curricular programs develop our ethnically and religiously diverse student body into young men and women of strong moral and ethical character.
Client's Need
A school website that would provide up-to-date information for current and prospective students. This website would need capabilities for in-house administration, and it would have to match the branding of the admissions campaign and asociated alumni website.
Our Solution
A fully-functional public website where the West Catholic community can keep current with the school, and online admissions efforts are facilitated. The site also covers academics and curriculum detail, athletics schedules and rosters, extracurriculars, alumni/alumnae relations, and general school information. For speed of navigation and priority of information delivery, the home page hosts news items, events, and "quick links" (the most used and popular links a current or future student would want to see immediately), along with the mission statement and links to important videos. The site also serves as a downloadable document repository for application forms, school policies, newsletters, and other printable materials.
This site also seamlessly connects with AlwaysABurr.org, West's alumni-specific site that was also developed by FluidMedia.
