Wornick Company Promotional Videos

Client Description

Wornick is a technological leader in making the best tasting, ready-to-eat shelf stable food that has a long useable shelf life at ambient conditions in flexible, non-canned packaging. Wornick resources are dedicated to new product and service development, supplier base and logistics management and the integration of nutrition with other products and services to enable people to subsist in very austere environments.

Client's Need

A means of showing trade show visitors and seminars attendees the various offerings and technologies present at the Wornick Company. It should illustrate the benefits of partnership opportunities, the high quality output of the company, their leadership in certain markets, and more. Primarily for booth and kiosk display, this video material should be attractive and bold, and it should disseminate a lot of information in focused, short bursts. This video material should also have use outside the trade show environment.

Our Solution

Two promotional videos, both output in DVD format and in digital video file formats (Quicktime and Windows Media Video) for playback in PowerPoint presentations or web streaming.

The first and larger video was designed to be played at hosted panel events, large meetings, and more. The second, smaller video was designed for looped playback at trade show booths and kiosks, and is a tighter summary of the material in the first video. Unlike the first video, the kiosk piece contains no audio, but it does include on-screen text and engaging imagery and effects that would draw in passers-by.

Both contain a majority of video and photography shot by FluidMedia, though a percentage of material (perhaps 10-15%; largely food lab footage and several photos of foods displayed on a plate) was provided by the company. Special care was given to filming the machinery and mechanical processes at work, emphasizing the cleanliness and safety of the manufacturing environment. Additional care was given to avoid displaying product branding in our footage.
